Resumen

Se presenta el caso de una paciente con estenosis mitral reumática severa, aurícula izquierda severamente remodelada y anatomía valvular óptima para tratamiento mediante valvuloplastia mitral percutánea (VPM), pero con un gran aneurisma del tabique inter-auricular a la que se realizó VPM exitosa con la ayuda de angiocardiogramas en aurícula derecha y ecocardiografía transtorácica durante el procedimiento. Se realizó revisión bibliográfica acerca de la entidad y abordaje percutáneo de la misma.
